Chicken Caesar Wrap is a great recipe to throw together on a busy school night or even pack in lunches! Don’t throw out that leftover chicken until you have tried this Chicken Caesar Wrap!
Nothing is worse than wasted leftovers. With the price of groceries these days, we need to make the most out of every meal. Chicken can only sit in the fridge for a short time so make the most of your leftover Savory Sauteed Chicken Bites or Slow Cooker Chicken by chopping them up in a wrap!
For this recipe, the chicken should be cold so leftovers really are perfect. I have also made this once with warm chicken and it is still delicious. Just be aware that warm chicken makes the lettuce and dressing warm too. Whether you enjoy it hot or cold, this Chicken Caesar Wrap is a cinch to make for lunch or a quick dinner on the run!
The ingredients are for one wrap so multiply by as many hungry mouths as you need to feed!
Chicken Caesar Wrap
½ cup grilled/baked chicken
½ cup Romaine lettuce
1 T Caesar dressing
2 T Shredded Parmesan Cheese
1 Flour Tortilla
To mix and assemble:
- Cut cooked chicken into chunks and place in a medium mixing bowl
- Chop Romaine lettuce and add to bowl with chicken
- Add 1 tablespoon Caesar dressing (more or less to taste) and mix well until chicken and lettuce are coated. If you are looking for a healthier alternative, try using a light Caesar dressing.
- Warm tortilla for 15 seconds on a dish in the microwave (Optional. If you prefer a cold wrap, just do not warm).
- Lay tortilla flat on plate and place chicken-lettuce mix in center of tortilla. Sprinkle shredded Parmesan cheese on top of mixture.
- Close the wrap by folding the top of the tortilla then fold in the sides (see photo!)
- Hold closed with a toothpick or eat right away!
If you like a nice crunch, you can add 1/4 cup of croutons to the chicken/dressing/lettuce mixture before tossing. Smaller sized croutons work best in a wrap. Serve with a side of Caesar dressing for dipping!
